The air conditioning unit is located under the picture window and is controlled on the unit itself. The E-Tac unit is a combination air conditioning and heating unit. Lift the lid to the control panel and set the unit to high, low or auto and cool/heat and adjust the temperature by pressing the up (+) or down (-) arrows accordingly.
A basketball court is located near the overflow parking/playground area. Basketballs are available for check-out at the front desk free of charge.
All units have a spare pillow and blanket located within the unit.
Brochures and posters are located in the main lobby near the front desk. Please ask our front desk staff if you have questions or contact Destination Door County at 1-800-52-RELAX.
A 5.5% sales tax, 8% room tax, and a $5 per night resort fee will be added to all reservations and a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee will be refunded only upon notice of cancellation received 14 days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations made within the 14 days will be refunded minus the $25 cancellation fee only of we are able to re-rent all night’s reserved. There are no refunds on early departures. You are responsible for all night’s reserved, including “no shows”.
The use of open flame candles or similar products are prohibited in all suites and public spaces.

An after-hours key drop is located in the lobby on the wall near the front desk. We do not allow for extended check-in or check-out times from May through October due to limited staffing.
Please call ahead to make arrangements for a late check-in. This would be necessary if arriving after 9:00pm November - April or after 10:00pm May - October. We have a lock box located in our front entry and will give you the access code to retrieve your map, instructions, and key. We ask that you complete check-in with the front desk the following morning.
Complimentary Door County Coffee & Tea is located in the lobby from approximately 6:30am until 7:00pm daily. Each unit has a regular drip coffee maker. We do not provide coffee. We do provide filters (located in your silverware drawer).
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We do not accept personal checks.
Pack N’ Plays are available upon request at $5.00 per night. High chairs are available on a first come first serve basis in the second-floor guest laundry area. Please return when finished.
Each unit has a dishwasher. Dishwasher powder is located in a lower kitchen cabinet in a small plastic container marked dishwasher detergent. It is not required but appreciated if you load and start the dishwasher prior to check-out.
We do not have an elevator on the property. First floor units located in the main building are at ground level. You can access the second-floor units of the main building at ground level by walking through the pool area (built into a hill). The adjacent buildings have stairs both down to the first floor and up to the second-floor level (split level). The pool area locks at 9:00pm November - April and 10:00pm May - October. There will be no after-hours access to the second floor through the pool.

Board games and cards are located in the second-floor lobby loft. Please return all borrowed items to this location when finished. Basketball, soccer ball, football, kickball and ladder golf balls are available at the front desk free of charge. Video arcade games are located in the hallway adjacent to the indoor pool. We have quarters available at the front desk.
If you would like to dispose of garbage or recycling there are bins located at the north end of the first and second floor hallways in the main building at all times. There will also be bins located near the outer building or garage area. These bins will be available from approximately 9:00am - 12:00pm daily: seasonal & weather permitting.
Please do not place garbage or recycling outside your room door or in hallways. If you need additional can liners please pick them up at the front desk.
It is not necessary to dispose of garbage prior to check out.

Because we were built in 1983, we do not have any handicapped accessible rooms with walk in showers.

If you are in need of towels, garbage bags or supplies, please pick them up at the front desk between the hours of 8:00am – 8:00pm. Extra toilet paper and Kleenex are located in your bathroom vanity.

Your room keys will open all outside doors after they lock in the evening, except the pool area. A $10.00 fee will be issued for all lost keys at check-out.
In case of a power outage battery operated lanterns are located in each room under your bathroom sink vanity or in the cabinet above your toilet. These are for emergency use only.
Located on the second floor across from unit #207. $2.00 each to wash, dry, or purchase detergent.
We do not offer luggage carts as we are located down-hill and do not have elevators or cart parking.
All units at the resort are individually owned. We do not have a sales department on the property. Please contact any Door County realtor with your questions or to discuss purchasing a unit.
You will find some cabinets, drawers, and miscellaneous closets with locks in some of the units. These are owner storage areas. Please do not tamper with the locks.
All parking is on a first come first served basis. If you are pulling a trailer, you can park in the gravel overflow lot near the entrance to the property. There is electric hook-up in that area if needed. No camping allowed.
No pets or support animals are allowed on the property or in the units. Please register all service animals with the front desk upon check-in.
There is a pizza oven located in the lobby near the coffee service.

We do not have mail service. There is a mail drop box located at the Egg Harbor Post Office located at The Bertschinger Center at the north end of town just past Baylake Bank.
Lanterns are located in each room under your bathroom sink or in the cabinet above the toilet. We are on a 3-phase electrical system so when the power goes out you may have limited power in your unit for a limited time. Both our well and sewer operate with electric pumps so you will not have tap water or be able to flush your toilet more than once. The property does not have a generator. It is not legal to operate a pool without working pumps, which are electric, so the pool area will also close if an outage occurs. Our power comes from the heavily wooded County Road G, behind the property.
We do not have a public printer. If you need a boarding pass printed please email it to stay@thelandingresort.com and we can print that for you.

We utilize Single Stream recycling so all garbage goes in the grey container and all recycling goes in the blue container.
We do not allow advanced check-in arrivals on Saturday or Sunday from approximately May - October due to staffing and the time needed to turn rooms over.
We do have minimum night stay restrictions. May - October you must stay a minimum of three nights on weekends and two nights during the week. There are also restrictions on some holiday and festival weekends from November - April. We are fully closed for the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays so our staff can spend time with friends and family. We do not charge for additional guests in the units but we do not allow more guests in the unit than there are beds. You must be 18 years of age or older to rent a room.
In-room smoke detectors are not hard wired to the fire department. In case of emergency please dial 9-1-1.
No smoking is allowed in the suites, anywhere in the building, or on the patios and balconies. Please step a reasonable distance away from the building if smoking/vaping. Butt disposal containers are located near each building entrance/exit.

The Resort has a short walking path around the property. You will see a directional sign out the back side of the property near the main building. The directional sign will also point you to The Village of Egg Harbor Walking Trail and downtown.
Food and beverage utensils have been provided in the units as a guest convenience. They have not been sanitized. It is recommended that you wash with sanitizer, after rinsing, add 1 teaspoon of unscented bleach per gallon of water and immerse utensils for a minimum of 30 seconds, then air dry. Bleach is available at the front desk.
We do not offer wake-up calls. Each unit is equipped with an alarm clock.
